Captain Geoff H. Dexter, CD
Captain G.H. Dexter, CD started his military career in 1940 when at the age of 13 he became an Army Cadet.
In 1944 he joined the Armed Forces at age 17, first with the Royal Air Force and later with the British Army (RASC) followed by the Canadian Army (RCA).
He served in the UK, Korea, Japan, the Northwest Territories, the Yukon and Alberta.
/1964 was the year in which he again became involved with Army Cadets and was appointed Training Officer for the Inuvik, NWT, Army Cadet Corps. He later commanded the Fort Smith, NWT Cadet Corps, the Slave Lake, Alberta Army Cadet Corps and finally the Medicine Hat Army Cadet Corps, which he commanded from 1979 to 1984.
